- 1st hoot for 2008 -

Its been 15 days into 2008, wanted to post tis earlier budden is too lazy to do it as i m so into Darkeden again~ =.="

1st day of the new year, our family went for an outing to hunt for a LCD TV and a TV console for our living room, its time to change~ The old TV console too toots, and the TV sound is already out. Many attempts from my dad to bring back the sound din work, so well,its time to change....

Previously we did go to other shops like Courts to compare and view those LCD TVs. Different salesman are promoting different brands, from Panasonic to Toshiba to Sony.

Went to Gain City and the salesman there recommended Samsung. Personally i feel more comfortable wif Samsung as i m using their 26" LCD in my room and am satisfied with it. We told the salesman we are getting the 37" LCD TV and ask him to give us some advise. He gave us 2 models to choose from.

The 1st one, which he says is value for money..


The 2nd one, which is much better dan the 1st one, costing $320 more..


After much consideration and negotiation of price with the salesman, we got the LA37R81BX for $1,919.. This includes this TV and a promotion where we will get a 21" SlimFit TV and Samsung DVD player~ Quite worth it i guess...

After that we went to Brighton, the furniture shop @ Toa Payoh and search for our TV console. Saw 1 which the 3 of us like alot and it cost $799 b4 everything. On top of that, we need to add 7% GST and $50 delivery and installtion charge which adds up to $908.43. But after bargaining, we got it @ $820 inclusive of all charges. kekeke....

Total cos for both items ish $2739, amount to be shared among, my parents and me~ Chor sia!~~ >.<"

Both were delivered on the 4th...
There u go, the TV console and TV in my Living room~ :D
