From my previous post about Claire, you all must have heard her singing from my playlist. Today, me and 2 butties gotta hear her sing LIVE @ IMM for her Siggy session!

The host of this event is Y.E.S933's Jia Hui! Reached there about 2.30pm and crowd is not really tat much but as its reaching 3pm, more and more ppl arrived. Bought the CD and went in to queue and wait for her arrival. Soon, Lawrence buttie joined me in the queue and all waiting for her to come...

郭静 or know as Claire Kuo, a new female singer from Linfair Records! Her debut album, Claire, was released on 09th May 2008 in Singapore.

For a start i was tinking and impressed as the story is based back in the 1950s. They are able to find ancient cars, boats and equipments. Although Harisson Ford is an old man, but in the show he still seems agile. Pacing is quite fast, not boring at all. So if you guys are thinking whether to watch or not, my suggestion is Go Ahead! You won't regret watching it.

- I am Sick -

Its a eventful weekend but tink its the huarking weather tat make me sick!!!

There are several things i wanna blog about but I am too sick to blog about it.
Ok, mayb i juz blog about wat happen during Saturday, but not detailed thou~

Saturday is very eventful day, had to support HSS Tea Party which was held at Marriott Hotel, tis is the 2nd Tea Party and well its a success, no glitches and all. Collected Gary's concert ticket after Prof Kwok's speech and they couldn't find me to take a group photo. Sorry bout that guys...

Chit chat wif fellow colleagues while taking our tea break. Finally receive instruction that we can keep our equipments at 4.50pm as there will be another company coming to use the ball room at 5pm.

As soon as we finish packing, we left and i made my way to Kaima's house as we are going to Night Safari!!! Thanks to NuffNang, my cousin got free tickets to Night Safari and me and my sis tag along... Will blog abou this in my next entries wif some pictures of course...

Time for me to rest more~

- The Lunch & The Gala -

Thanks to Nuffnang, i got the Tix for "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian"'s Gala Premiere Tickets!

Went with Andrew but b4 that, we went for lunch @ Ms Clarity! Food is not bad, tis meal is considered my cheat meal for this week! No more Cheat meals!

Andrew had Dory Fish and i had Chicken. Had too much fish the nite b4 @ Manhatten, so decide to eat chicken. Our desert is omg so sinful!! LoL...

After that, made our way to Bugis Junction for the Gala Premiere!!! Was searching high and low at the ticketing counter for the Nuffnang personnels BUT NONE WERE FOUND!!!

We decided to try our luck on the 4th floor and ya, they are there!! Nuffnang, can you all pls let us noe the location that u all will be setting up the booth? The whole Bugis Junction is so big. Hope u all understand, but nonetheless, thanks for the Tix!!!

Was in the Cinema and guess who we saw? Its XIAXUE!!!! Saw her from far, and din bother to approach her or watever... LoL...

I would also like to thank Andrew for bringing me 2 items from TAIWAN!! I will treasure them both like my precious!!! Woo Hoo.. Thanks Andrew!!! :D

- The Dinner -

As mentioned in earlier post, something which mum said makes me wanna bang my head against the wall!!!

Mum: "I tot u wanna use the vouchers to buy the phone?"
Me: "Oh Shit, i forgot about the vouchers!!! Y din u remind me when i called u?"
Mum: "I din tink too much then, din remember it oso."
Me: "Argh!!! Waste $248 bucks!!!"

Ya and so, tats wat happen =.="

The Capital Land vouchers are gotten from my parent's renewal of an investment plan by UOB. Few hundred dollors of them which part of it was planned to be used to buy the new phone!! But NVM, will buy some other things wif it.

The Dinner! After quite sometime, having the vouchers, i suggest to parents that we try Manhatten Fish Market which they both agree.. So we went and tried out. Taste good and the enjoyed it. But as always, mum have problem deciding wat to eat, especially western food~

Spent a great time @ dinner but there is tis nuisance call which have been bugging me since friday and several times during dinner!!! Lets not tok about tis nuisance!

TGIF, my favourite day! For today, decided to recontract my Maxonline and Mobile plan.

• Mobile is for mum's line wif $50 voucher getting a Sony Ericsson w890i 24mths contract
  

For MaxOnline, i tink its time to save up more, cos mthly expenses is so high!!! 25% discount means like a $15 savings every month, plus my hubclub discount, savings is $17 every month.

For mum's mobile line, although its not even 21mths, starhub offer to waive off the $100 extra cost to handset and a $50 voucher. So getting the Sony Ericsson w890i @ $248.

But b4 visiting Starhub, i went to Sportslink to get my pair of shoes. I cant simply wear the sports shoes for work everyday which actually is meant for my PT. So decided to get another pair of shoes.

After that, is KTV session with Weiwen and Pang! enjoyed ourselves alot! Good KTV session there! :D

Friday: Bought a new handphone and my long awaited adidas canvas shoes. For the Phone (w890i) we have not decide who to use, either mum or me. But for now, i will b using it~ (Pics later tonite, or tmr morning)

Saturday: Nothing Much, mopping floor and resting at home

Sunday: PT in the morning. Great news, weight down again!!! :D Next will be going to KX for a short lesson on the auto LuoPan. Tonite will b having dinner @ PS Manhatten...

- Something Mothers's Day 之 《沙画艺术》 -

Steven sent me the link to this youtube clip.. Its a type of art called "沙画"。 Creating art work using Sand, making beautiful pictures that has a theme together song or a piece of music in the background. The best part is, no paper is wasted while creating an art piece. From what i see, 4 types of materials are needed.

1. Sand
   
2. Board
3. Camera
4. Light

I was 1st introduced to this art on one of the sections of the SPop concert that was held in Indoor Stadium. The artist Oscar drew various pictures using sand while Deng Miao Hua is singing... Fascinating!

I have yet to know the english term for calling 沙画, so anyone noes it, pls leave comments on this post or a msg in my tagboard..

As I have read from reviews, TODAY and SPH-我报 both gave this movie a 4 stars rating, so I decided to watch it. For a start, its still ok wif some humour here and there... The part where he met Kazue Fujiki is cool, where most laughter came from. Thats only 1 part of the movie. Other dan Fujiki, Chiba have other subjects too, from a 40years old man to a 72 years old woman, not listed in the synopsis which made the show so boring and dry... Very slow too... As for the Shinigami part, other dan Chiba, there are other Shinigamis at work too, each having their own subject to judge.. Its kinda crappy as the show goes on and to a point where we decide to leave the cinema even before the show end! Real Boring!!!

Finally after a long wait "The Chronicles of Narnia" has came back with its 2nd episode which will be in Cinemas on 29th May. After watching the 1st movie on "Narnia", with the great visual effect and magical background story, it attracted me to wait for the next episode "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian".

For a person who likes magical stuff, and fantasy based stories, i will definitely wanna watch "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" 1st hand tats the Gala Premiere...

After watching the trailer, I feel its a great movie that we can expect great visual effects from with the beautiful scenaries and interesting story and made me wanna watch it as soon as possible!!

- Happy Mothers' Day -

Firstly, i would like to wish all mothers a Very Happy Belated Mother's day!

For this year's mother's day, its the same, gift will be given. In addition to that, I sponsored mum to watch Li Fei Hui's concert that was posted in the previous post which she enjoyed it very much.

As for the gift, bought both mum's Pearl Pendant w necklass. Different designs for both. Mum's pendant is so that she can match it with her birthday diamond earrings. For Kai ma's the pendant is one of the best designed thats on display, and tats the last of its kind. Some ppl want to buy but no more cos I TOOK THE LAST ONE!

Hope both mummy love the pendant, its my little appreciation for you both who has taken good care of me since young~

A Tribute to Li Fei Hui

Date/Time: 10 May '08, Sat, 7.30pm
Venue: Esplanade Concert Hall

A tribute to Li Fei Hui, this concert is held to perform songs composed by him for the past 20 years... Various singers and artises r invited to perform and throughout the concert, its said that not most but all of them agreed to be part of the concert juz by 1 call from Fei Hui...

Stated in Sistic website, tis concert is 2hrs 30mins, but in actual fact, it lasted for 4hrs 30mins!!! Great and enjoyable concert! Although some songs are foreign to me, most of them i have heard b4 and it brings back many memories...

This concert is part of my mother's day gift to mommy， mom enjoyed it very much! Other dan mum, Dad and Aunt Jen and Unker Jeff also went.

The best performance i would say is by Julia, her singing is really POWER!! Listening it LIVE is WoW Great!!! Having the Greatest laff is when Jack Neo is out singing the hokkien version of "We are Singapore".

Through this concert, we saw the other side of Fei Hui, he is no longer the stern judge during Superstar, but a very friendly and humorous person.

This blog started out as a call for help for boy boy in hardwarezone forums. Boy Boy is a puppy mongrel who's sick and in dire need of help.

Please let me explain why I started to look for help for BoyBoy. BoyBoy and Ah Pui are saved from drowning from a friend of mine. She called me on 15/04/08 and asked if I can look after the both of them until they're adopted. I gladly agreed.

I collected the both of them from her on 18/04/08. During that time, they still had not open their eyes and were very cute. They started to open their eyes on the 20th.

On 25/04/08, BoyBoy started to lose appetite. He also did not poo for about 2-3 days. He refused to drink any milk, I tried to force feed him and he spit it all out. On 27/04/08, I brought him to East Coast Mount Pleasant Clinic.

The vet put laxatives inside his butt and he finally pooed. The vet told me to give him vitamins and glucose to see if he get's better. After 2 days, he is still very weak. I decided to bring him to the Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital.

He had been hospitalised for about 4 days (29/4/08 - 02/05/08), and the vet still can't find out what is wrong with him, I then decide to seek a 2nd opinion from Dr Jean Paul Ly at Animal Recovery Vet Centre.

Dr Ly immediately do a blood transfusion and an x ray for the him, and he found out that boy boy has got heart problem. He then adviced me to bring him home, instead of leaving him in the hospital which may cause too much stress on him which is not good for his health.. Boy boy will have to go for an operation when he is at least 5-6 months old as he is still very small and weak now (weighs about 680gm).

- Eventful Day -

Its the 2nd day of May and I am on leave for the super long weekend....

1st thing 1st is to get my Keyboard to Banleong for exchange as mine is the faulty batch which gives an irritating problem... What problem? Random keys will not respond after some time... Especially irritating when u try to msn or type something... Actually wanted to go down last saturday, but! Luckily i read the forums that they are having stock take, else i would have made a wasted trip down!

Its a long long way to BanLeong as its all the way at Ubi!!! Took 168 to Tampines, went to Tampines Mall to get Li Fei Hui's concert tickets! The sales is surprisingly good. Wanted to get $68 seated on the 2nd floor but all the seats are taken, even those on 3rd floor. $68 is left wif those on 4th floor which i tink its too high to see anything~ :( So bo bians, haf to upgrade the price, pay more to sit on the 1st storey.. Each Ticket cost $88 and the fucking sistic charge has increase to $3 per ticket and so each ticket cost $91. WTF!

After that, took MRT to Eunos and change to bus 93 alight near Honda show room and walk to Sunlight Building, home of BanLeong reaching there at 12pm..

Went to the helpdesk, it seems so messy to me.. Press the bell for assistant and 1 mud came over and took my keyboard and receipt from me and came back shortly to tell me that i have to wait for AT LEAST 30MINUTES!!! WTF, change a Keyboard doesn't need 30mins!!! I have been in the Service line doing RMA for 2 year! Changing of a modem only takes 1min and the rest is configuration... But nvm, i juz waited...

Finally 12.30pm, i got my new keyboard. Took bus 51 to my ex-coy to meet buttie, unker lee, and ww for Lunch. But earlier, i received an sms saying buttie cannot join us as he needs to go to a site~ :(

Called him, he say that he is still at site, wanted to go hm after that, but no, i sitll made my way down. Half way there, buttie called me and say he is on the way back to office!!! :D

Met them for lunch and went back to office to haf a check wif all my ex-collicks...
Stay there for few hours before deciding to haf dinner wif Nelly, Irene and Unker Lee @ Botak Jones~~

Chatted and laffed thru dinner... Its so fun to be wif my ex-collicks, ususally is laughter and can tok our hearts out...
